Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

Ephesians 5:1-2

This little book is a letter to my brethren with the message the Lord has given me for His people. The Holy Spirit gave me the contents of the book and He told me to tell people that if they read only the scriptures I reference, the message would be the same.  It is for those with ears to hear and eyes to see.  The Lord is soon coming to gather His Bride and take her to the Fathers house where He has prepared a place, (John 14:1-4) but the vast majority of His people are not ready!

You may be “saved” but are you an overcomer? I believe the scriptures clearly teach us that the “bride” (Eph 5:25-33) is the overcomers of Revelation chapters two and three. To be an overcomer means that we OVERCOME the things of the world, our flesh and desires and take up Christ’s cross and follow Him only.

“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3:21

The Lord instructed His people to “WATCH and pray always that we be accounted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of man.” (Luke 21:36) If we must be found worthy, then that means there will be those who are found NOT worthy. But the Lord has a plan for His people, and He wants us to follow Him and His plan. Everyone is invited, but most do not respond to this high calling in Christ Jesus (Phil 3:14). Salvation is a free gift, but to be a true follower and disciple of Jesus will cost us. (Eph 2:8, Luke 14:25-34, Luke 9:23, etc.)

The bridegroom is only coming for a bride that has faithfully purified herself in order to wed Him (1 John 3:2-3). Revelation 19:7-9 states clearly that the “wife of the Lamb made herself ready” and she has her own righteousness.

Jesus is coming for those who are truly “In Christ” (1 Thes 4:16-18). He expects a people that have sought spiritual maturity and have counted the cost to follow Him. He is desiring a set apart people that are hungry for him and are spiritually preparing to rule and reign with Him in His kingdom.

In Matthew 25 verse 6 a loud cry is made and the bridegroom comes to gather the bride at “midnight.” Since the parables of Jesus have literal meaning behind them, this means that when the Lord comes to gather His bride there will be gross darkness and evil upon the earth. Most Christians are not spiritually prepared to endure the darkness that is coming. They are not prepared to be the children of light that the Lord wants us to be in order to differentiate ourselves from the darkness around us. (Read Isaiah 60:1-5)

If your faith is weak, if you are lukewarm, in sin and living a worldly life, how will you fare in these times? We must be ready to be His light to witness that Jesus Christ is the only way in a time when fear, chaos and evil is rampant. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit governing your life, how will you hear the voice of the Lord and His instructions for you? Fill your oil lamps and put extra oil in your vessels so you have enough oil to light your lamp and keep it burning when you go out to meet your bridegroom at the midnight cry.

People of God, you have been chosen to be here at this time in history to witness all that is about to unfold! YOU HAVE A DESTINY that goes way beyond this temporal world! I urge you to pick up your cross and follow Jesus NOW without compromise. Take up the full armor of God and stand in this evil day (Eph 6:10-18). Come under the wings of the Almighty now (Psalm 91) and allow Him to be the ONLY ONE you trust to get you through all that is coming. Allow the Spirit of Christ to sanctify you as a true disciple of Jesus.

Look up, for your redemption draws near! At the appointed time in the not too distant future, the Lord will come to “claim for Himself and snatch away” His watching and waiting bride, and only the Father knows when. The question is will you be ready?
